- reliable internet connection (wired if possible)
- webcam/microphone/speakers
- two screens are recommended – one to attend the online class and the other to view session handouts.*

Important: Please ensure that you have all the items above before you register. If you register and then find that you cannot meet these requirements (with the exception of the second screen), you will not be permitted to attend the workshop. There are no refunds.

| Attendance Requirements: | This workshop certifies participants to lead More Than Words® – The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder or Social Communication Difficulties. Participants also receive a license to lead the program.
Full attendance is required. This means completing the Pre-Workshop Assignment and attending all group sessions in full. No recordings will be available of the live sessions.
Absences will not be approved. Please only register for a workshop for which you can attend all live group sessions in full. Please note that if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, you will not receive a license to offer the program or a Certificate of Completion. There are no refunds. |

Financial: Sarah Sharit, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist who has been working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families since 2011. She has led numerous More Than Words® programs in cooperation with the county Regional Center in San Diego, California. Sarah is a long-time Hanen member, who uses Hanen resources in her clinical work with families. She also provides school-based speech-language therapy services to adolescents and collaborates with occupational and physical therapists serving children of all ages. As a Hanen Instructor since 2017, Sarah is contracted by The Hanen Centre to lead More Than Words® and Hanen 4 “I”s to Socialize™ workshops in North America and Australia. Non-financial: No other relevant non-financial relationships exist. |

| Language: | Due to the fast-paced, highly interactive nature of our workshops, participants must have a high proficiency in English (i.e. they must be able to understand English, respond to questions and contribute comfortably to group discussions, which involves practicing and applying concepts learned during the workshop). All materials will be provided in English. |
| Cancellations: |
100% of the workshop fee will be refunded if written notification of cancellation is received before the start date of the workshop and a substitute can be found. No refunds if a substitute cannot be found.
Please note that we cannot provide refunds for partially attended workshops. However, you have the option of registering for a future workshop for an administrative fee of $279, with the same full attendance requirement. Please note that most advertised workshops are currently full and we cannot take reservations.
