Course Overview
If you’ve chosen to offer an evidence-based program that includes adult learning, staying true to the program protocol is critical for success. But whether consciously or not, many clinicians may end up "drifting away" from the protocol over time, making small but cumulative changes in an attempt to better meet the needs of families.
This e-Seminar explores the implications of "fidelity drift" and provides a framework clinicians can use to maximize the effectiveness of their intervention by ensuring that they’re offering it in the way it was intended. Using Hanen’s Target Word™ Program as an example, the e-Seminar looks at the different kinds of “treatment fidelity” we need to consider and describes a formalized tool to measure and keep track of these kinds of fidelity during and after the program.
