Position: Speech Language Pathologist and Business Development Consultant




Overview

The Hanen Centre, a not-for-profit charitable organization, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced speech-language pathologist, who has worked in early intervention, possibly utilized the Hanen approach and who has a passion for driving business growth and development in this field. This role involves a unique blend of clinical expertise and business acumen to expand our services and trainings, foster partnerships, and drive revenue growth. This position is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension based on performance.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to expand the reach and impact of Hanen training and Hanen programs.  
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and formulate strategies to increase Hanen’s reach in the area of early intervention.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with external agencies and organizations to explore collaboration opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
  • Conduct and analyze market research on industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to provide insights, training, and support to ensure that the business development initiatives align with clinical standards and best practices.
  • Report and analyze data related to business development activities to optimize strategies and achieve goals.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Hanen membership is an asset.
  • Experience in early intervention services.
  • Experience in a business development role within the health care, early intervention, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices, standards, and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and drive growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred), sales automation tools, and other relevant technologies.
