Recent updates have refreshed the research behind the program, refined the way you set communication goals with parents, updated the resources you use in the group program and introduced It Takes Two to Talk® the 1-1 Way for coaching individual parents, including parents of Late Talkers.

This one-day, online It Takes Two to Talk Refresher & Recertification Workshop brings you up to date on all of the interventions; it provides a full day of practice, discussion and troubleshooting with Hanen clinical leaders and with your peers.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop is for SLPs who have previously completed the It Takes Two to Talk certification workshop, including:

• Current members who want to refresh their knowledge and skills and learn about the most recent It Takes Two to Talk update.
• Expired members who want to renew their certification and gain the most up-to-date information.

Includes one year of Hanen membership ($50 value) 

Four areas of change, all covered in this workshop

1. Updated program practices

   Review the most recent updates to the It Takes Two to Talk Program and the research that informs them.

2. Refined strategies

   Explore refined responsive-interaction strategies for supporting children with language delays/disorders and their families in everyday interactions.

3. Updated Child Profile

   Practice assessing a child’s communication, the parent-child interaction and setting appropriate goals using current guidelines.

4. It Takes Two To Talk® the 1-1 Way

   Review the individual parent-coaching framework and resources for children with language delays/disorders, including guidance for coaching parents of Late Talkers, with an in-depth coaching session demonstration.
