Funded through Ontario’s Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), our goal is to support professionals working within the Preschool Speech and Language Initiative (PSL) across Ontario.  
   
Speech-Language Pathologists and other professionals working within the Ontario Preschool Speech and Language Initiative may be eligible for the services of Hanen in Ontario Provincial Preschool Speech and Language Initiative. These services, which focus primarily on supporting professionals' work with parents and other caregivers of young children with communication delays/disorders, include access to:  

Hanen Training for Staff 

As of April 2024, the ministry will be funding registrations in More Than Words®, It Takes Two to Talk®, 4I’s to Socialize™ and SPARK Communication™.  

To register, please reach out to your PSL coordinator for the application links.  

Once you submit the application, you are placed on a general waitlist for that workshop type. When a workshop date and time becomes available, an email will be sent out to those on the waitlist to accept or decline the dates/times. Please note that these invitations are sent out on a first come first served basis.

Reimbursement of Student Registration Fee for the It Takes Two to Talk® Certification Workshop  

If you attended an It Takes Two to Talk® Certification Workshop at an Ontario university, and you were hired by the PSL within one year of graduation, you may be eligible for reimbursement of the workshop registration fee.  
  
To obtain the reimbursement, you and your regional coordinator must fill out a Request for Reimbursement of Student Registration Fee for Hanen It Takes Two to Talk® Certification Workshop, and submit this form to us.
