The Hanen Centre’s student presentation initiative continues in 2010
Wednesday, January 06, 2010
Representatives from The Hanen Centre are gearing up for another year of visits to campuses across North America and Australia. Since 2007, we have offered introductory presentations to speech-language pathology students as part of our student outreach program. This initiative began in response to comments we received from faculty members, telling us how valuable the Hanen approach is in preparing students to work with families of young children who are language delayed. It has provided many exciting opportunities to connect with present and future colleagues worldwide. With more invitations every year, representatives Toby Stephan (U.S.) and Cindy Smith (Australasia) have been busy presenting and booking new visits.
