- Must have taken the prerequisite workshop It Takes Two to Talk®; and
- Have a current Hanen membership

Hardware:

You will need your own personal device (laptop, desktop or tablet) for use throughout the workshop (cell phones may not be used). You will not be able to share your device as only one participant can attend per device.

System Requirements:
|
• a computer/desktop/laptop or tablet (you may NOT use a cell phone)
• a reliable internet connection (wired if possible)
• speakers
• a microphone
• a webcam
• two screens are recommended – one to attend the online class and the other for sessions handouts. You also have the option to print out the handouts

NOTE: If you do not have all of the items above (except the second screen) you will NOT be able to attend the workshop. Refunds will not be provided if you are denied entry to the workshop.

This workshop is offered for 1.45 ASHA CEUs (Advanced Level, Professional Area) Full attendance and participation during the two days is required. As a prerequisite, there is an Individual Learning
Component to be completed before participation in the workshop. This workshop focuses specifically on Target Word™ - The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children who are Late Talkers and
accompanying resources and will include no or limited information on other similar or related products or services.

Attendance requirements:
|
This workshop is a certification workshop which certifies participants to lead Target Word™ — The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children who are Late Talkers. Participants also receive a license to lead the program.
Full attendance is required. This means completing the Pre-Workshop Assignment and attending the full 4.5 hours of each of the four days. Attendance will be tracked during the training. No recordings will be available of the live sessions.
Absences will not be approved. Please only register for a workshop where you can attend the full two days. Please note that if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, you will not receive a license to offer the program or a Certificate of Completion. There are no refunds.

Financial: Cindy Earle, M.A. S-LP (C), CCC, is Program Director for the Target Word™ Program at The Hanen Centre. Her responsibilities include leading Target Word™ workshops and developing resources and materials for use in Target word™ workshops and other related trainings. Cindy also develops resources for Target Word™ - The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children who are Late Talkers and is co-author of the Target Word™ Leaders Guide and Target Word™ Parent Handbook. The Hanen Centre holds the copyright to these materials and Cindy receives no financial benefit from the sale of these materials. Non Financial: No other relevant non-financial relationships exist.

Hanen resources are protected by international copyright law. No translations are permitted without advance written permission from The Hanen Centre.

Due to the fast-paced, highly interactive nature of our workshops, participants must have a high proficiency in English (i.e. they must be able to understand English, respond to questions and contribute comfortably to group discussions, which involves practicing and applying concepts learned during the workshop). All materials will be provided in English.
|

Cancellations:
|
50% of the workshop fee will be refunded if written notification of cancellation is received and a substitute can be found. No refunds if a substitute cannot be found. No refund requests will be accepted after the workshop has already begun.
