Masters Degree (from US/Canada) or Bachelors Degree (from UK/Australia/New Zealand) or other international equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology

You will need your own personal device (laptop, desktop or tablet) for use throughout the workshop (cell phones may not be used). You will not be able to share your device as only one participant can attend per device.
System Requirements:
• a computer/desktop/laptop or tablet (you may NOT use a cell phone)
• a reliable internet connection (wired if possible)
• speakers
• a microphone
• a webcam
two screens are recommended – one to attend the online class and the other for sessions handouts. You also have the option to print out the handouts

ASHA Statement:
This workshop is registered for 2.15 ASHA CEUs. Full attendance and participation during the three days is required. As a prerequisite, there is also an Individual Learning Component to be completed before participation in the workshop. This workshop focuses specifically on It Takes Two to Talk® - The Hanen Program® For Parents of Children with Language Delays, its associated resources and the Hanen approach to parent-implemented intervention, and there will be limited or no information provided about similar products or services.
Attendance requirements:
This is a certification workshop. Full attendance results in the award of a license to lead It Takes Two to Talk® — The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Language Delays.

Full attendance is required. This means completing the Pre-Workshop Assignment and attending the full 8 hours of each of the three days. Attendance will be tracked during the training. No recordings will be available of the live sessions.

Absences will not be approved. Please only register for a workshop where you can attend the full 8 hours of each of the three days. Please note that if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, you will not receive a license to offer the program or a Certificate of Completion. There are no refunds.
Required workshop material:
Attendance in this workshop requires that you own the It Takes Two to Talk guidebook (Weitzman, 2017). You need to purchase this book if you do not own one.

Please note: Attendance in this workshop requires that you own the It Takes Two to Talk guidebook. This workshop is available at a reduced price to allow participants to purchase their individual copy of the guidebook. Financial: Jo Bristow, B.Sc. (Hons), is a speech and language pathologist who has over 30 years’ experience working in the UK, SE Asia and Australia, with children who have intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. As a Hanen Instructor, Jo is contracted by The Hanen Centre to lead It Takes Two to Talk® certification workshops and SPARK Communication™ workshops. She is a long-time Hanen member and has offered Hanen Programs to families in Australia and across SE Asia. Jo is the current Australasian Representative for Hanen. Translation policy:
Hanen resources are protected by international copyright law. No translations are permitted without advance written permission from The Hanen Centre.
Language:
Due to the fast-paced, highly interactive nature of our workshops, participants must have a high proficiency in English (i.e. they must be able to understand English, respond to questions and contribute comfortably to group discussions, which involves practicing and applying concepts learned during the workshop). All materials will be provided in English.
Cancellations: 
50% of the workshop fee will be refunded if written notification of cancellation is received and a substitute can be found. No refunds if a substitute cannot be found. No refund requests will be accepted after the workshop has already begun.
