Instructor personnel disclosure statement:
This workshop includes a mandatory Self-Directed Module A that forms the foundation of your learning going forward. Prior to attending Module 1, you must complete the Self-Directed Pre-Training Module. It will take approximately 60-90 minutes.  

Live modules of this workshop will run from 10 AM EDT (Toronto/New York) to 12:30 PM EDT (Toronto/New York) every Tuesday and Thursday over three weeks. Full participation during all sessions is required. The live modules will take place on Zoom with the workshop instructor and other participants.

By the end of this training, you’ll feel fully equipped to not only address the specific social communication needs of young children with autism, but also to empower parents in one-to-one, face-to-face settings to create the kind of interactions that lay the foundations for communication and language.

Fay McGill, MA CCC-SLP, Reg. CASLPO, is a speech-language pathologist and clinical program assistant at The Hanen Centre. As a speech-language pathologist for over 15 years, Fay has worked with children who have communication difficulties, including autism spectrum disorder, and their families, as well as offering Hanen Programs for parents. Fay leads Hanen 4 "I"s to Socialize™ trainings for professionals and contributes to program and resource development at The Hanen Centre. This workshop will run in English only. Participants must have an intermediary level of English to participate.

Full attendance:
This workshop is a licencing workshop which culminates in gaining a license to use the 4 “I”s coaching methodology and the accompanying resources. Full attendance is required. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the license being withheld, with no refund provided.

If you are concerned about your ability to attend in full each live module of the workshop, please contact before the workshop begins.

75% of the workshop fee will be refunded if written notification of cancellation is received and a substitute can be found. No refunds if a substitute cannot be found. No refund requests will be accepted after the workshop has already begun.
