Support for Early Childhood Education Faculty

Professors or instructors in Early Childhood Education programs often find Hanen resources, programs and workshops useful in helping their students learn evidence-based strategies for promoting the language and emergent literacy development of young children.

Learning Language and Loving It™ resources

Learning Language and Loving It resources are excellent tools for exposing your students to a comprehensive, naturalistic approach to building the language, literacy and social skills of preschool children.

The Learning Language and Loving It guidebook outlines practical strategies that educators can easily integrate into the daily routines and activities they do with their students. The Learning Language and Loving It DVD may be used alongside the guidebook to provide real-life video examples of educators applying the strategies in a variety of early childhood classroom activities.

Learning Language and Loving It™ Certification Workshop

You may decide to attend the Learning Language and Loving It Certification workshop in order to become a Certified Learning Language and Loving It Trainer. This will allow you to incorporate the program into your curriculum, offering your students the best possible opportunities for internalizing Learning Language and Loving It strategies and practicing these strategies in everyday interactions with children. The use of individualized coaching and videotaping in the program greatly enhances the educators’ opportunities to practice and receive feedback from you so they can learn to self-monitor and modify their interactive behaviour.
