Credit Card Security Restrictions for International Orders
In an effort to combat credit card fraud, many banks and credit card companies automatically place security restrictions on international web purchases. The security restriction can easily be removed by calling your bank or credit card company and explaining that you would like to make an international web purchase (and, in many cases providing the name of the organization you are ordering from). The restriction will be removed immediately and you will be able to process your order.
Note Regarding Workshop Registration:
Please note that even if you are registering for a workshop in your home country (or even your home city), the purchase is considered to be “international” since the transaction is between you and The Hanen Centre, which is located in Toronto, Canada.
Please call the number on the back of your credit card and confirm with your credit card company that this is an authorized charge and you would like it to go through, then go ahead and re-register for this workshop. Please be assured that your registration will not be duplicated as your registration cart was deleted when your credit card was declined due to the security restriction on your previous attempt. Workshops often fill quickly, so we encourage not to delay in speaking with your bank and re-registering.
Email Confirmation of Workshop/e-Seminar Registration
The Hanen Centre always confirms your registration in any of our training events by email. If you do not receive a confirmation by email within 24 hours of your registering in a Hanen workshop or e-seminar, please contact us by phone or email (see contact information below).
